On 21 September of this year, the Nantes Saint-Nazaire Development Agency is set to host WIND FOR GOODS, the first national event dedicated to the technologies of wind-propelled maritime transport.

Bringing together businesses, networks, institutional partners and elected officials, the ambition of this unique event is to turn the spotlight on the key players and concrete solutions already contributing to the decarbonisation of freight transport, all in the interests of protecting our environment.


- Discussions of the major challenges facing the sailboat shipping sector:
o An overview of the latest technologies and projects bringing a breath of fresh air to maritime freight.
o Focus on the sector’s potential, and its key growth drivers.
o Highlighting the ecological priority of decarbonising maritime transport

- Over twenty companies will be on hand to present their technologies in the flesh: from demonstrations in the docks of Saint-Nazaire to models, simulators and discussion sessions.
